From sea to.....snow!

So today we started out dipping the wheels if our bikes in the pacific ocean...a little sand in the brakes as a memory.

We got the tour of San Diego during the morning- it appears that California is in bloom, there were so many lovely floral smells in the air. They also have some good bike racks:

We were fortunate enough to stumble by this park, and find a tire swing:

We all did some pull ups for a little upper arm workout - tad did 23, Caley 2.0 and I did .75.

Continuing down the Road we found our super- star sag steve, and had the first of many a pbj in the Albertsons parking lot.

We also did a whole lotta climbing, here's us at the 3000 ft sign, but we got 5474ft of butt burnin goodness in total today.

I currently writing his from my sleeping bag... We found a lovely spot to camp on the top of a hill with fab views of the starts, and of snow! Snow camping in California.

We are real close to the border, and hoping we do not get mistaken for border crossers in our random campspot :)
